The Eight of Pentacles seems a perfect choice. Carole, two more weeks and summer will be here! I have to chuckle when I realize that we've been so busy that I'm hearing about the success of your students' final project on this blog and not over lunch. We've been busy and pulled in so many directions. Cathy, I have been getting caught up on your blog. Figuring out where to live and work and what to do about your cats has been clearly heart-wrenching. I feel for you and wish you the best as you prepare to leave Egypt. I've had a great teaching week, and the students who have presented their final projects have shown themselves to be scholars; maybe some of them could even turn out to be teachers someday! So the Hierophant and the image of his unusual (by contemporary standards) but timeless (by archetypal standards) classroom really strikes a chord with me. But I hear what you say, Sonia, the focus and vision of the Greek painter makes me want to work on my own creative project. Feeling like I'm in transition between the teacher and the creator, this deck's images really offer my imagination pictures of the best I can accomplish. My card is the Eight of Pentacles. I've been chipping away at my story, now that I have time to. I'm starting to feel that a complete first draft is within my reach. I'd like to have the focus of the Greek painter as I work on it-- keep an eye both for the larger picture and for the details. What a beautiful card set!

She's standing there, looking calm and looking out. That's where I want to be. Calm, composed, looking ahead. I made my choice. I have chosen one wand over another -- my career over my cats. I am very passionate about my work -- and my cats. I chose my focus, I just haven't totally come to grips with it yet. I need to find a home for my cats, so I can totally commit to the next steps on the way I chose. I like the two of wands. She’s standing there, looking calm and looking out.
