I own a Rider-Waite deck, so I went and actually drew a card at random. The Eight of Swords, uh-oh! I am hoping that over the course of the week I can shake those ties and shed my blindfold!

I was tempted by the Ace of Pentacles – the RWS version of this card is one of my favourites – but actually I think it’s time to get up and out of that garden.

My favourite in the RWS deck is the Ace of Cups. Not sure why exactly, but the card makes me smile and feel good.
Another card I keep going back to is the Nine of Pentacles, probably because that is who I want to be…
