Cathy, I’ve got your link up. It’s neat that you are posting your reflections. To clarify, I don’t have the right to grant permission to post the artwork. I sure wish I had created all those incredible images! However, I have found that most publishers allow the images to be reproduced as long as credit is given. Their sites often offer guidelines.

I have to say that I’m attracted to the curiosity and wonder expressed by the figures in the Southwest Sacred Tribes deck.

I think the little boy in the Bohemian Gothic deck is very much a little boy, impatient and reluctantly doing things only because he’s asked to; he seems to me to say, “Okay, I’ve had my picture, can I come down now?”

Forgive me for acting as if the world revolves around the United States! According to the website, http://webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/b.html:

“The U.S. begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. local time on the second Sunday in March and reverts to Standard Time at 2:00 a.m. local time on the first Sunday in November. DST is not observed in Hawaii or Arizona, with the exception of the Navajo Nation, which does observe DST, even in Arizona.”

I told my husband that I was posting Sun cards for Daylight Saving Time, and he asked to see the Bohemian Gothic Sun–he couldn’t imagine how such a dark deck would interpret it.

I agree. The main reason I keep coming back to this, is to see the variety of beautiful cards! I missed the change to Daylight Saving – for which part of the world was this, the US?

I chose the card from the Bohemina Gothic deck. I like the way the sunlight streams down from above. It spells out enlightenment to me and the pony is simply a beautiful piece of art!
